Professional Membership Credentials
Members and Fellows are entitled to use the post-nominals (either MDTFEd or FDTFEd). A Certificate of Affiliation with FDT enhances your CV and portfolio. The Journal of Dental Education is a peer-reviewed monthly journal that publishes a wide range of educational and scientific research in dental education, making it a premier resource for academic dentistry. iLearn Pro is now available as a member benefit for Dental Fellows and Members of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).

Being Part of a Wider College Network
Being part of FDT entitles you to a free of charge College app which provides news, information and details about exams and courses at your fingertips. You will also receive our regular RCSEd Round-Up email and Dental Digest as well as quarterly copies of the College's award-winning publication Surgeons' News, to which you can contribute.
UPDATE - Free ADEE Membership
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE), FDT members are able to register and gain access to a range of benefits. These include access to all areas of the ADEE website and resources, a reduced registration fee for attendance at their annual conference, calls for abstracts, and invitations to apply for various educator awards at the ADEE annual conference. FDT members can also actively engage with special interest groups and communities of practice across Europe. In addition, they get access to educational resources in the form of The European Journal of Dental Education and the Digital Education for Dentistry resource that has been created to better support educators in the digital delivery and assessment of dental and oral health programmes. As well as the professional and academic benefits, FDT Members receive a 10% discount on RCSEd courses and events (10 %), discounted accommodation at the College's Ten Hill Place Hotel and discounted rates on meetings, events and celebrations at the College's venues, as well as on food and beverage in all College restaurants and cafes.
