The FDT’s Sarah Manton and James Field will be speaking at The Dentistry Show on Friday 18 May 2018 at NEC Birmingham. The sessions include:

Learn about the unique benefits of the MFDS and how membership can help support a variety of career pathways. The format and marking structure of the MFDS examination will be explained and there will be opportunity to experience a typical OSCE station under real examination conditions, with immediate and comprehensive feedback. 

 

Developing Non-Technical Skills for Dentists and their Relevance to Training

Discover the relevance of assessing non-technical skills for dentists and the potential for introducing such assessments into training. Are attributes such as leadership, situational awareness, teamwork, communication and decision-making important skills for dentists working with a dental team? This lecture presents developments in this field by the Faculty of Dental Trainers.

College staff will be available to speak to at stand M83.
